Optimates Wordpress Theme:

Optimates is a widget ready, ads ready Wordpress theme. Theme has a custom control panel.
Important: Theme has a custom page navigation function. Do not use wp-pagenavi plugin. If it is already activated, deactivate the plugin before activating the theme. If you forgot it, delete functions.php in theme folder, deactivate the plugin and reupload functions.php.

Optimates Theme Installation:

• Download the theme from this page,
• Extract it,
• Upload the optimates folder in optimates folder to wp-content/themes,
• Acitave the theme from Appearance.

Adding Posts:

• Enter Posts/Add New,
• Write title, content, select category, add tags,
• On right buttom, click "Set featured image" link, upload your photo, then you will see "Use as featured image" link at the bottom of the pop up box. Clik that link. It will be the thumbnail of the post.
• If you want the post appear in in slider, create a custom field with the name featured and write the image url in value field,
• Publish the post.

Widgets:

Theme is widget ready. You can add widgets from Appearance/Widgets.

Menus:

Top menu includes the pages. Main menu can bet set from Appearance/Menus. You can use dropdown menu.

Theme Control Panel:

Enter Appearance/Optimates Theme Options and fill in the fields. Then save changes.

Logo:

There is a logo.psd in images folder. Open it and edit. Then save it as logo.png into images folder.
